Jalinan Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is a young and dynamic bumiputra company which was established in late April 1999. Its core business has been in railway signalling & telecommunication other than the field of information, communication & technology. Jalinan Engineering Sdn. Bhd. has successfully completed the following substantial projects in Malaysia :- maintenance of railway signalling & telecommunication from KTMB's South Port to North Port (Pulau Indah) design, install, test & commission KTMB's nationwide token to tokenless railway signalling design & build of temporary KTMB railway level crossings installation of outdoor optical fiber cable inclusive of outdoor & indoor splicing and testing & commissioning for Kempas to Tanjung Pelepas for KTMB installation of outdoor optical fiber cable inclusive of outdoor & indoor splicing and testing & commissioning between KL Sentral to KLIA for Express Rail Link Jalinan Engineering Sdn. Bhd. has taken its own initiative to establish a new division called Research & Development division. The division main function would be to design certain railway products in accordance to client's specification and cater to local environment. Jalinan Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is in the planning stage to hold a technical cooperation with one of the local higher institution on a full-time basis with the backing of Ministry of Science and Technology.
